Clever Cloud is a French cloud provider founded in 2010 and headquartered in Nantes, specialising in Platform as a Service. The company develops and operates a cloud-native managed hosting platform designed to fully automate the deployment and operational maintenance of applications. Its core philosophy is straightforward: developers push their code, and Clever Cloud handles deployment, automatic scaling, monitoring, and production resilience.

The service catalogue covers the full range of cloud project needs: application hosting across numerous runtimes (Java, Node.js, Python, PHP, Ruby, Go, Rust, Scala, .NET, Docker, and more), managed databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, Redis, Elasticsearch, Cassandra), S3-compatible object storage via Cellar, managed Kubernetes (CKE — Clever Kubernetes Engine), identity and access management with Keycloak as a service, and API management through Otoroshi. Clever Cloud holds the HDS (Hébergeur de Données de Santé) certification, authorising the hosting of sensitive health data in compliance with French regulations. The platform is also ISO/IEC 27001:2022 certified and GDPR-compliant. For organisations requiring SecNumCloud qualification, Clever Cloud offers a dedicated zone through its partner Cloud Temple, a provider qualified by the French cybersecurity agency ANSSI.
